Introduction

        The principle of multi-effect rectification is the same as that of multi-effect evaporation. It is an operation process that uses several rectification towers with successively lower pressures in series. The top vapor of the previous rectification tower is used as the heating medium for the reboiler of the latter rectification tower. In this way, except for the rectification towers at both ends, the middle rectification device does not need to introduce heating and cooling media from the outside.
