Basic Introduction::
The waste heat evaporator is an evaporation system that uses waste heat to provide effective heat transfer temperature difference. The main purpose is to use the existing waste heat of the factory as a heat source to treat the waste water of the factory, achieving two birds with one stone, which can not only turn waste into a treasure, but also save the cost of waste water treatment.
In power plants, chemical, light industry, food and other factories, some low-quality waste heat is always generated during the production process. For example, superheated steam from power plants, high-temperature waste steam from process production, high-temperature exhaust gas from drying equipment, boiler high-temperature flue gas, high-temperature chemical wastewater, high-temperature secondary steam, etc., can be reused in evaporation and concentration systems through reasonable design. Liquid waste heat can be used to preheat the material to use its sensible heat, or flash steam can be obtained by flash evaporation to use its latent heat; vapor waste heat can directly use its latent heat.
The waste heat evaporator can be designed to use multiple waste heats together, or it can be designed to use waste heat and raw steam together; it can let waste heat sources of different qualities enter heaters with different temperatures; waste heat can be used once or multiple times.
According to the degree of waste heat utilization by the waste heat evaporator, the waste heat evaporator can be used less or even without generating steam, which greatly reduces the operating cost of the evaporator and the energy consumption of the factory, and reduces the carbon emissions, dust and exhaust gas emissions of the factory.

There are two main forms of waste heat evaporator:
1. If the factory has surplus low-pressure steam, it can directly use low-pressure steam as a heat source to drive a traditional multi-effect evaporator to treat wastewater, or use low-pressure steam for atmospheric and low-temperature evaporation.
2. If the factory has hot exhaust gas, air, flue gas, etc., the heat can be used for atmospheric pressure and low temperature evaporation.
The principle of atmospheric low temperature evaporation is to take advantage of the different moisture content of air at different temperatures to heat the air to take away the moisture in the wastewater, and then reduce the air temperature to strip the moisture in the air, so as to achieve the purpose of evaporation. The energy consumption of low-temperature evaporation is very low. Because of its use of waste heat, the cost of evaporating one ton of water is often around 10-30 yuan.
3. In addition, due to the different evaporation principles of the atmospheric low-temperature evaporation system, the equipment can be made of plastic and glass fiber reinforced plastics, and the equipment investment is low, and there is no risk of corrosion and scaling.
Main features of waste heat evaporator:
● Mainly use waste heat generated in the production process as the heating source for concentration and evaporation.
● If the waste heat contains dust, it must be completely removed by dust removal equipment before use. If the dust is not completely removed, it is directly applied to the concentration equipment (the outer wall of the heat exchange tube) for heat exchange, which will cause serious pollution.
● In order to use waste heat safely and effectively, it is necessary to fully grasp the conditions of waste heat, namely waste heat flow, air content in waste heat, wet bulb temperature, dry bulb temperature, air pressure, etc.
● According to the temperature of waste heat and different media, let it enter heaters of different temperature for heating.
● The water vapor content in the waste heat is high and the wet bulb temperature is sufficiently high, the equipment investment cost of the waste heat recovery evaporator will be relatively small. Conversely, the water vapor content is low, the wet bulb temperature is also low, the heat recovery of waste heat will be less, and the equipment investment of waste heat recovery evaporator will also increase.
● The waste heat evaporation system can be equipped with heat pump technology, multi-effect falling film evaporation, multi-effect forced circulation evaporation, MVR evaporator, etc., with flexible design and a wide range of applications.
● The investment in waste heat recovery, concentration and evaporation equipment is relatively large, 2-3 times that of general multi-effect evaporators.
